The forklifts are now in use across CML’s 270,000 sq ft warehouse at Lutterworth’s Magna Park.
This follows contract wins including new deals with Triumph cosmetics and Halfords as well as a contract with luxury underwear line Björn Borg to distribute its products in 15 countries.
“We have experienced a strong period of growth over the past 12 months and this is reflected in our fleet replenishment and our acquisition of new contracts,” said managing director Graham Copley.
“The investment with Crown represents a desire to keep our fleet reliable and efficient and this strategy is expected to produce significant operational benefits to the business.”
Crown’s UK sales director Simon Barkworth said: “The Crown fleet supplied is equipped with Crown’s award winning Infolink fleet management system and the resulting cost savings and efficiency improvements experienced by CML have been significant since its introduction onto the previous fleet in 2008.”
