Ryder has completed the purchase of trailer repair and maintenance specialist Bullwell Trailer Solutions.
Bullwell, which is based in Lichfield, will continue to operate as it does today, and will run alongside Ryder to complement the company’s trailer service offering.
David Hunt, vice president and managing director of Ryder Europe, said: “Ryder is constantly looking at how it can strengthen the business to better serve customers. We presently operate one of the largest trailer rental and contract hire fleets in the UK. The acquisition of Bullwell fits perfectly with our ongoing investment and growth strategy. It will enable us to build on our strong market proposition in trailers, and enhance our nationwide repairs and onsite maintenance services to all of our truck and trailer customers.
