Luxury fashion brand ME+EM has appointed Clipper to provide a multi-channel retail logistics service.
The contract is based at Clipper’s Enfield site. Services include: warehousing, bespoke pre-retail services and packing items ready for dispatch to customers.
In addition to the e-fulfilment element of the contract, Clipper will also deliver goods to ME+EM’s central London store. Clipper uses an electric vehicle to deliver to stores in London’s West End.
ME+EM counts celebrities and even royalty among its customers. Cornelia Smith, director of merchandising, said: “Clipper have demonstrated the expertise we needed to help prepare the business for its planned growth. They’re extremely well regarded in fashion retail and their knowledge of the sector will help us deliver our customer promises. We have been delighted with the initial migration to the Clipper facility and we look forward to the continued success of this operation.”
The plan is to introduce supply chain efficiencies to improve customer experience, including improved packaging and later cut-off times for orders placed online.
