FedEx has launched a new returns service, joining a growing list of parcel delivery firms to have amended their returns service in recent months.
Global Returns has been designed to simplify the returns process for both retailers and their customers. The service includes editable return labels, customs documentation, and flexible return destinations via FedEx Express or FedEx Ground.
Tracking data will also be made available during transit and for a further two years, providing businesses the ability to analyse global supply chains to improve efficiency, according to FedEx.
Raj Subramaniam, executive vice president of marketing and communications at FedEx, said: “Our customers now have a one-stop solution that in turn allows them to offer their customers an efficient, automated and flexible returns process backed by the reliability of FedEx.”
