Car Parts Industries has awarded Briggs Equipment a contract to supply it with forklift trucks, and lift and access equipment at its West Midlands warehouse.
The five-year rental contract, valued at £250,000, supplies the European remanufacturer of automotive parts with Hyster medium level order pickers, two Hyster counterbalanced electric forklift trucks and six JLG driveable stockpickers.
These will be deployed in Car Parts International’s core and finished goods warehouses at a 135,000 sq ft facility in Wednesbury, West Midlands. Briggs will also provide maintenance and service.
Car Parts Industries remanufacturers products, including brake callipers, steering racks and steering pumps for cars and light commercial vehicles.
