Kuehne + Nagel is to move to a 130,000 sq ft warehouse at Heathrow South Cargo Centre after reaching an agreement for a long-term lease with owners The Airport Industrial Property Unit Trust (AIPUT).
The warehouse is the largest letting of its kind at Heathrow in 2014, and the Swiss logistics provider Kuehne + Nagel has agreed to take up occupation in the warehouse at AIPUT’s Heathrow South Cargo Centre in early 2015.
Nick Smith, fund manager of AIPUT, said: “This co-investment will significantly enhance London Heathrow’s air cargo service capabilities and reinforce its position as a leading international hub airport.”
Heathrow South Cargo Centre is now a fully-let scheme of 200,000 sq ft, with lettings to GE Aviation and DO&CO Events & Caterings.
