Vax, the vacuum cleaner maker, has opened a 230,000 sq ft national distribution centre at Stonebridge Cross, in Droitwich Spa.
John Upperton, operations director at Vax said: “Everyone here at Vax is looking forward to moving into this excellent new purpose-built, modern working environment at Stonebridge Cross. We are fully focused on making Vax a great place to work, with motivated employees delivering the highest levels of service to our customers.
“An important part of this is creating inspiring workplaces and we’re confident that our investment in our offices in Worcestershire will help us continue to attract and retain the very best talent, as we continue to expand.”
Vax has agreed a 15-year lease on the site, which has been developed by Stoford and AXA Real Estate. It incorporates a call centre, car parking, loading yard and landscaping.
David Brown, director at Stoford, said: “This marks the completion of the final unit at Stonebridge Cross which now boasts 17 high quality industrial warehouse and distribution buildings, providing a wide range of companies with first class facilities from which to operate.”
