Logistics Link North got off to a storming start yesterday, according to exhibitors including Flexi, Redledge, Interroll and EK Automation, with both lead generation and attendance up on last year’s show.
Andy O’Donnell, director at Redledge, said: “The show has been storming on this first day – promoting the point that small is beautiful.”
DHL project teams that were present on the first day of the event said that they would be delivering presentations to their management board based on findings from the show.
John Hunt, business development manager at Flexi Narrow Aisle, said: “We’ve been pleased with the show, we’ve had something of a captive audience and have had multiple enquiries.”
Logistics Link North was also used as the launch platform for the Samson Nano, a new pallet wrapper from Samuel Grant.
Alongside this, a host of leading companies used the show to display innovations in warehouse management and automation, software solutions, adaptive packaging, intelligent picking, materials handling and mobile technology.
