Briggs Equipment is investing £10.5m in its short-term rental fleet, with the addition of reach trucks, powered pallet trucks, stackers and order pickers, and two to six tonne electric counterbalance forklifts.
The investment has upped its available fleet to 5,100. Since January 2013, the size of the fleet has grown by 4.8 per cent.
The investment includes £8.3m in new warehousing equipment, with a further £2m investment in a short-term rental fleet comprised of specialised equipment, including JCB telehandlers, rough terrain vehicles, Narrow Aisle Flexi equipment, and the Workmax utility terrain vehicle, as well as a variety of JLG aerial access equipment, including scissor lifts, boom lifts, toucan lifts and stock pickers.
