Kimberly-Clark Professional has extended a warehousing and distribution contract at its north Wales site with Norbert Dentressangle for a further three years.
The contract extension will see Norbert provide warehousing and distribution services for Kimberly-Clark’s UK distribution centre at a 90 acre site in Flint, north Wales, continuing a partnership that has been in place since 2000.
In addition, Dentressangle will provide an integrated logistics service for Kimberly-Clark manufacturing operations, and hold responsibility for inbound transport, production planning, line-feed, on-site materials handling, MHE fleet management, gatehouse control, and waste management.
In other news, Dentressangle became the first 3PL to be accredited with the Skills for Logistics (SfL) Standard of Excellence.
It has also appointed Ludovic Oster as its new group HR director. Oster joined in 2008 as group human resources director.
