DHL Freight has added nine terminals to its Eurapid service, the European day-definite service for less-than-truckload shipments up to 2.5 tons.
The UK, France, Italy, Hungary, Poland, Spain and Slovakia each get one new station, while Portugal gets new stations at Lisbon and Porto.
There are now 50 terminals in 17 countries and covers 80 per cent of all business addresses in Europe. Amadou Diallo, CEO of DHL Freight, said the aim was to offer “close to full European coverage” by the end of 2015.
