MasterMover International has supplied an MM7 electric tug to independent brick manufacturer Baggeridge to push brick kiln cars, which carry 10,000-plus bricks and weigh more than 40 tonnes.
Up until now, the cars have been moved by using a combination of manual labour and a conventional pulley system. The MasterMover MM7 means that “just one machine, one person, one simple attachment and one minute” increases the Baggeridge factory’s productivity and removes any risks associated with manual handling and industrial injury claims.
