Storage solutions provider Locators Storage Systems (LSS) has installed a bespoke racking system at chewing gum manufacturer The Wrigley Company’s 7,812sq m warehouse in Plymouth. As a result of the installation, Wrigley has expanded the number of picking faces from 30 to 55 and increased the amount of cases packed to around 5,850 a day.
LSS also created a picking corridor, with access limited power pallet or hand pallet trucks, and new lanes of pallet live storage were mounted on the floor.
