Fleet management company Maximus has launched its exclusive International fuel management system, FuelFocus, to the UK market. FuelFocus is claimed to be the only wireless fuel management system that is fully integrated within a fleet management system, offering major commercial, security and operational benefits to transport fleets of all sizes.
A key component of the US-based company’s future strategy is to expand its fleet management systems business in the UK, where the company has major contracts with Royal Mail and TNT, and progressively into all European markets.
Maximus says FuelFocus, already a proven system in the US and Canada, is the complete solution to the task of implementing an effective fuel and fluid management system; supporting continuous, real-time fuel management over virtually any communication platform.
In terms of fuel consumption customers have recorded savings of up to 15% and reductions in shrinkage of between 10-20%. FuelFocus can add value to any organisation by improving accountability for metered or pulsed consumables including petrol, diesel, propane, CNG, glycol and lubricants.
