Rogers Chapman, acting for Henry Schein, has acquired a 2,232sq m warehouse representing Units 5 & 6, Medway Distribution Centre in Gillingham, Kent at a rent of £4.75 per sq ft. The new facility will accommodate the tenant’s planned growth and expansion in the area. A new ten-year lease was agreed with landlord Deanhill Estates.
Target’s depot in Leeds has relocated to a new warehouse with increased capacity. The depot’s size has increased significantly from 2,976sq m to 5,115sq m, representing a £3.5M. Since taking over the lease of the premises in Morley, Target has customised the building – several areas of the existing warehouse have been opened out and meeting areas and offices have been completely redesigned.
Qualitex Supplies has taken the last of the speculative first phase industrial units within the 212-acre Access 18 distribution scheme at Avonmouth, Bristol, being developed by St Modwen Developments. Qualitex, a specialist supplier of shower and bathroom equipment, has taken 3,251sq m on a 15-year lease.
