Packaging and labelling are increasingly becoming key functions in the supply chain as companies strive to eliminate damage to their products as well as ensure that consignment labels feature the correct information.
This sector will be well represented at Logistics Link 2005 by with exhibitors including Application Developments, DS Smith Tri-Wall, Easypack, Inotec, Lighthouse, Mil-Tek, Paxar, SATO, Weber Marking Systems, Weyfringe Labelling Systems and newcomers packaging solutions specialist Aetna, Orion Packaging Systems and Loveshaw Europe, which is launching its new case sealing machines at the exhibition. The company also produces a range of pallet wrappers including the new Easy model.
Paxar, which specialises in apparel labelling and identification products, will feature its jewel in the crown at the exhibition – the scan, print and apply solution Pathfinder Ultra – while visitors to Lighthouse’s stand can see the latest CPM system which can print in multi-colour and cut out labels to any required shape.
New products on display from Weyfringe include a print and apply labeller, full colour label printer and RFID labelling software.
