n Topps Tiles has enlisted the help of Linde Creighton to provide high quality materials handling equipment capable of withstanding the intensive environment at its central warehouse and distribution centre near Leicester. The facility moves more than 1,400 tonnes of tiles and wood flooring product every week to replenish Topps Tiles’ 220 stores nationwide.
n The company is using three Linde H 20 T lpg-powered forklifts for loading and unloading high volumes of stock while 16 T 20 S two-tonne capacity, rider operated pallet trucks are also used to transfer products between despatch, goods in and the warehouse.
n Three Linde R 20 two-tonne capacity reach trucks continually store and retrieve stock, handling loads weighing up to 1.2 tonnes to heights of 10.5m.
