Unilever in Poland has renewed a five-year contract with ACR Logistics reinforcing its partnership as its sole logistics partner in the country. As a result, ACR Logistics has opened one of the most modern distribution centres in Poland dedicated to Unilever Foods and Home and Personal Care products, and combines all the logistic operations of the company in Poland with the exception of frozen and chilled products.
Unilever goods, including Lipton tea, Knorr products and Dove cosmetics, are stored and, where necessary, co-packed at Piotrków Trybunalski before they finally reach customers. This 40,000sq m distribution centre, which supplies the Polish and Baltic market, is fully integrated with Unilever’s own systems (business processes, software) and has a direct connection with its European Data Centres. All warehouse operations are executed with the use of radio frequency infrastructure.
With a capacity of 48,000 pallet locations, the warehouse has automatic temperature regulation system.
