Wallenius Wilhelmsen is introducing an enhanced global Round The World Service (RTW) from March 2005 for manufacturers of high and heavy ro-ro equipment, such as agricultural and construction machinery, and static products. The RTW Service has been restructured by increasing the number of sailings and offering improved transit times on several routes. The changes will benefit those customers who are shipping high and heavy ro-ro and static cargoes in ever increasing volumes. Sailings will be increased from 24 to 36 a year, with improved frequency between sailings from 15 to ten days as well as improved transit times. When the new service takes effect Wallenius Wilhelmsen will be able to offer a 110-day RTW Service, shaving ten days off the existing schedule.
