ACR Logistics is the new name for supply chain specialist Hays Logistics, following its change of ownership. The organisation’s re-branding marks a new phase in its development, which includes increasing turnover by more than 10% year-on-year, excluding planned external growth.
The company has a turnover of Euro 1.2Bn, 17,500 and operates 2.7 million sq m of warehouse space in 140 sites across 11 European countries.
ACR has a clear strategy for future activities, which will see it focus on four key sectors – Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) retailing, FMCG Manufacturing, Automotive and Industrial, and Telecoms and Technology – and on the European marketplace.
Xavier Urbain, chief executive officer of ACR, says: “Our objective is to provide added value for our customers by turning logistics into a competitive advantage, and a means for them to grow in their respective markets. We develop solutions for our clients which are based on measurable results.”
ACR plans to develop its business by strengthening its European presence, in particular in Germany and Spain, and by expanding across Central and Eastern Europe.
