Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks has introduced a diagonal standing position to its latest stand-on stackers, making them more comfortable, controllable and productive. According to Mitsubishi, the SBR 1.2 and 2.0 tonne K series trucks “are the ideal solution” for duties involving both stacking and horizontal travel over large distances.
The modified layout means greater visibility for operators, which is further enhanced by the clear-view mast. Also, precise fly-by-wire steering and the trucks’ compact dimensions enable efficient manoeuvring in very tight spaces. Mitsubishi claims that the stackers can “work in narrower aisles than a reach truck”.
Other features of the new stackers include quick on-off access, a user-friendly display and easy service access to all components, ensuring very little work time is wasted. They are also equipped with the most advanced SEM motor and MOSFET controller technology providing fast travel and lifting speeds.
There are a choice of three load capacities – 1.2, 1.6 and 2.0 tonne. The first two models will lift to a height of 6,500mm. Residual capacity can be increased during higher lifts with help from the optional side stabilisers.
Standard specification for the SBR K series includes regenerative braking, tapered fork tips and built-in diagnostics.
