Halewood International, the alcoholic drinks producer, shipper and supplier, has taken on four Renault Premium 420.26 dCi 6×2 rigids for its distribution requirements throughout the UK. The vehicles, which feature Privilege cabs, replace four Volvos which had come to the end of their lease.
Paul Gaskell, Halewood’s group fleet manager, says the new vehicles are delivering a mixture of full loads to supermarket regional distribution centres, and part loads to smaller customers. The four vehicles are on a five-year lease and maintenance contract.
Gaskell adds: “We looked at other makes apart from Renault. But through their dealer, Woodwards of Wigan, they were the most proactive in getting the specification we required along with a reasonable delivery date and the lowest overall lease cost through Renault Truck Finance.
