The latest 32 vehicles to join homecare equipment supplier Medequip’s 100-plus fleet have all been lined and laminated by bodybuilder GRP Westbury. The vehicles – 20 Ford Transits and 12 Citroen Relay vans – carry community equipment, covering both soiled and cleaned goods.
Before specifying the GRP lined body system, Medequip used a basic plastic membrane. However, the new system provides a much improved health and safety practice as the internal vehicle body can be regularly cleaned and disinfected as required.
