Manchester-based property adviser Matthews & Goodman has sold Plot 600 at Radial Park, Stoke-on-Trent to Sladen Estates close to the asking price of quarter of £250,000 per acre. Radial Park is a joint venture between Michelin and AWG Developments.
Plot 600 provides nearly ten acres of prime development land in one of Stoke-on-Trent’s most prominent commercial business locations. Planning has already been granted to develop Plot 600, and commercial developer Sladen Estates intends to speculatively build a 13,935sq m high-bay warehouse on the site.
David Newman, of Matthews & Goodman, comments: “Radial Park is a key scheme for Stoke-on-Trent and is one of the most strategic commercial distribution sites in the North-west, benefiting from a prominent location on the intersection of the A500 and the A50. The 22 hectare (55 acre) park has already attracted anchor tenant J Sainsbury who chose the site to build a 51,095sq m distribution depot, confirming its status as a premier business location.”
The remaining two plots in the first phase of the scheme provide a high-profile location, fronting the park alongside the A500. Both sites are under offer and planning has been secured to develop a car showroom and dealership on one of the plots.
The joint letting agents are Matthews & Goodman and Gerald Eve.
