Paxar UK has developed two lightweight versions of its Monarch Pathfinder, a multi-function, real-time, one-piece hand-held scanner, data collector, printer and label applicator. The new MO6032 and MO6037 models are said to be suitable for time-efficient retail price management, item marking, shelf maintenance and packing activities.
The MO6032, says Paxar, satisfies the majority of needs while the MO6037 can offer either batch of full radio frequency communication. Both models are rechargeable battery-powered, and deliver significant improvements in productivity over earlier Pathfinders.
Labels are printed to 203dpi resolution and the maximum width and length of label, tag or receipt paper is 51mm and 102mm, respectively. Fast imaging is achieved through a 32-bit microprocessor incorporated in both models, ensuring the delivery of labels including barcodes, text or graphics at the rate of 51mm a second for the MO6032 and 102mm a second for the MO6037.
