Evans Property Group has announced that a further 37,200sq m of new speculative development will shortly be built at Fradley Park, its 300-acre distribution and warehouse centre on the A38 near Lichfield. Permission for three units of 9.300sq m, 4,836sq m and 4,650sq m has been granted and a planning application for a fourth unit of about 18,600sq m has been made.
News of further speculative developments follows the completion of two warehouse units – Axis, a 2,600sq m production / warehouse unit and Momentum an 11,625sq m – distribution warehouse that are now available to let. To date, more than 139,500sq m of new industrial, warehouse and office space has been constructed at Fradley Park.
David Helliwell, estates director for Evans Property Group, says: “The opening of the M6 Toll road has led to an increased demand for more flexible warehousing and prime distribution accommodation at Fradley Park. The site is ideally situated close to junctions T4 and T5 of the new motorway and this is one of the main reasons for the increased speculative development at Fradley Park.”
Alongside speculative development at Fradley Park, Evans Property Group also offers design and build opportunities from 465sq m to 46,500sq m. Current occupiers include Caterpillar, Hellmann, DHL, Wincanton, Great Bear Distribution and Swish.
