RAC Claims Services have launched a new UK dedicated repairer network specifically for commercial vehicles. The service, a joint initiative between RAC and DuPont Refinish, is developed to help insurers and fleet customers manage their commercial vehicle repair costs more effectively while improving customer service.
The development is the latest enhancement to the existing RAC branded repairer network and means that RAC Claims Services repair network management can now handle repairs from motorcycles through to the largest commercial vehicle.
Phil Manchester, head of the RAC’s Product and Process Development, says: “We know from research that insurers and fleet managers regularly face problems with commercial vehicle repair and by partnering with DuPont Refinish we now have a new network which can help speed up repairs and lower the cost of claims for the larger and more complex vehicle types. We already offer other relevant services such as HGV recovery and load continuation through RAC Commercial Assistance, so this is a natural fit with our other claims services.”
