Entec International has won a £15M, three-year contract with a leading worldwide drinks group covering the delivery of advanced global eProcurement and logistics solutions. The project involves advanced Internet and eBusiness solutions automating the spare parts supply chain.
According to Entec, this deal “underpins the successful implementation” of an eProcurement Strategy for the Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO) in Africa and a variety of emerging markets.
Entec says the decision to award the contract to manage MRO spares procurement for selected international operations over the next three years “provides major benefits in terms of significantly reduced costs and strengthened operating efficiencies”.
