Innovate Logistics will complete the former British Coal site’s redevelopment after purchasing the last plot of land. Bassetlaw District Council has granted planning permission for Innovate Logistics and GMI Property Company to develop a 13,020sq m on the seven-acre site. The building will open next year.
The site was remodelled by the East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA) and English Partnerships using £34M from the National Coalfields Programme to put in the site’s infrastructure.
Councillor Griff Wynne, portfolio holder for Economic Regeneration at Bassetlaw District Council, says: “We are delighted that Manton Wood is now on the way to being fully occupied and are equally pleased to welcome Innovate Logistics to the Bassetlaw business community. The Enterprise Park has been a crucial source of employment within the District and we thank emda for their hard work and partnership efforts.”
