The role of dimensioning within the parcels and warehousing sectors and RFID technology will each be the subject of two seminars at Logistics Link North, being held at Doncaster Racecourse on September 22 and 23.
Auto ID specialist inotec UK and RFID market leader Intellident are jointly holding an RFID educational seminar in the exhibition centre’s Flying Fox Rooms on both days to remove some of the mystery and misconceptions surrounding the technology.
The free seminar starts at 10am each day and is repeated in the afternoon. Lasting 75 minutes, it includes:
An introduction and overview of RFID technology.
Show comparisons between RFID and barcode solutions.
Feature three case studies where RFID is being used in logistics and the supply chain.
Attendance is on a first come first served basis but delegates can pre-register by contacting Diana Jennison at inotec UK on 01482 672733, emailing diana.jennison@inotecbsl.com or visiting www.intellident.co.uk/linknw
Mettler Toledo Cargoscan’s seminar will provide delegates with the opportunity to expand their knowledge of dimensioning and its important role in express parcels and warehouse management applications. The seminar, which will be held on September 22 in the exhibition centre’s Hyperion Bar from 9.30am, will include a business overview, information management systems, and problems and solutions.
