The Potter Group has won a £300,000 a year contract from Huntingdon-based Supreme Concrete to store and distribute concrete building products. Materials weighing up to 50,000 tonnes will be handled annually through the Potter Group’s Selby road and rail freight distribution centre and occupy around two acres of storage and delivery space.
One of the UK’s leading manufacturers of concrete fencing, building and pre-stressed building products, Supreme concrete concluded that having stocks held in Selby, North Yorkshire, represented the most cost-effective distribution strategy for the North.
