Jungheinrich has completed its range of man-up stackers with the launch of its EKX narrow aisle model. The EKX stacker fulfils the growing market for a man-up truck with the relatively low lift heights of up to 7.5m.
It is available in capacities of 1,000kg, 1,250kg and 1,500kg as well as a choice of lift heights ranging from 4m to 14.5m.
Jungheinrich says that its aim in introducing the EKX was to achieve a one tonne capacity stacker with a high performance and at a low cost. It says that was achieved with the EKX 410 – its travel and lift speeds are the same as those of the larger models in the range. The 410 retains all the features of the established Jungheinrich VNA range including regenerative braking and lowering, three-phase AC drive system, CanBus technology for customising and fault finding, and an ergonomically designed cab.
Other standard features on the new stacker include the cab being 100mm longer and the fitment of a Macrolon screen to protect the operator from wind chill in unheated warehouses.
