When rapidly growing specialist sausage manufacturer Manor Born developed a new shelf-ready packaging tray it turned to Rigid Corrugated to design and produce strong, side-opening fibreboard cases to fit the trays.
Used to transport and then store the speciality sausages, Manor Born says that Rigid’s corrugated package is “brilliant”.The cases are supplied flat-packed in six different sizes and in varying board grades to suit a variety of retailers.
Significant growth has led to Manor Born’s orders increasing by 1,000%, boosting the number of transit cases required to about 15,000 a week.
