SSI Schaefer’s new LTB transport containers, which are available in a wide range of sizes and variations, have been designed for robust and secure storage and distribution in automation or manual systems.
Made from durable polypropylene, this latest design of Euro container features ergonomic handgrips to provide maximum comfort during manual handling, and a specially developed base construction to eliminate base deflection when used in automated logistics systems.
Fully stackable, the new LTB containers can be supplied with either a lay-on-lid or a two-piece attached lid to provide added security when goods are in transit. Fully compatible with sprinkler systems, optional drain holes in the base also allow for ease of cleaning. Label holders are incorporated in the design on all four sides to accommodate barcode labels or ID tags, thereby facilitating real-time stock control and up-to-the-minute management information.
With a standard payload capacity of 50kg and available with a base designed to carry 70kg, the LTB containers are offered in a range of seven sizes from 400 x 300x 120mm up to 600 x 400 x 320mm. They are also among the most competitively priced products of their type currently available in the UK market.
