Atlet has launched the latest generation of its compact high performance X-series sit-on stacker trucks. The new ERGO stacker incorporates several state-of the-art ergonomic, safety and technological features found on Atlet’s UNS TERGO reach trucks, and “is ideal” for transport and stacking duties in warehouses, stores and production plants.
The ERGO can operate in aisles as narrow as 2.4m enabling two-way traffic in the aisles, and can stack as high as 6.4m. The truck is available with capacities of 1,600 and 2,000kg, and is designed for moderately intensive operations where travel distances are around 100m and truck running time is up to five hours a day. The truck offers a driver unparalleled levels of comfort during extended shifts, with fully-adjustable seat, armrest, hand-rest and floor pedal plate, complemented by fingertip controls and ‘fly-by-wire’ mini steering wheel.
Atlet’s revolutionary S3 technology – Stability Support System – has been fitted to the new ERGO. Driven by the truck’s onboard computer, this electronic system continuously monitors the truck operation and automatically, and progressively, intervenes to counteract potentially risky manoeuvres such as excessive speed in relation to load height or over-sharp steering.
