Paula Rosa Kitchens, based in
Storrington, West Sussex, has selected Cranleigh Freight Services (CFS) to handle imported products from Italy. The company, a leading designer and manufacturer of quality kitchens for nearly 40 years, is a major supplier to the housing market, supplying kitchens through its four showrooms and via a network of 50 independent retail showrooms.
CFS liaises between Paula Rosa and its suppliers in Italy, arranging collections from up to five suppliers, enabling a full trailer load to depart on a Friday, for delivery to Paul Rosa on a Monday or Tuesday. CFS will help to control the product flow into the UK by providing accurate information, reliable transit times and using dedicated trailers to minimise the risk of damage.
John Codd, purchasing manager of Paul Rosa, says: “I am happy to welcome aboard Cranleigh Freight Services who have a reputation for reliability of delivery and we have already seen a remarked difference in the control and accuracy of our supply chain.”
Ben Cox, operations manager, comments: “Paula Rosa needed our help to establish flexibility of collection and reliability in delivering. Together a controlled program of imports has been established.”
