Retail giant Redcats UK and Lynx Express have formed a commercial arrangement with the launch of Lynx@Home, a new home delivery service. Marking Lynx’s entry into the home delivery sector, the new service uses Redcats’ Courier Link home delivery courier network for its last mile deliveries.
Lynx is responsible for sales, collection, pre-sortation, billing and proof-of-delivery (POD). Initially, a standard 48-hour service is being offered. Goods will be delivered by Lynx into Redcats couriers within a pre-set time window daily.
The new division has evolved out of the relationship between Lynx and Redcats over the past 14 months – the parcels company signed a multimillion, five-year contract the Wakefield and Bradford-based arm of parent company Pinault, Printemps, Redoute.
