FDB has won a contract with Armor, which specialises in print technology. French company Armor wants to enhance its services to UK-based customers by significantly reducing the lead-time, with a 4pm cut-off to process the last orders for next-day delivery.
Kingswinford-based FDB is creating a buffer stock and providing warehousing, logistics fulfilment and distribution.
West Bromwich Albion FC, which is opening its third retail outlet, is also using warehouse and logistics provider FDB Distribution to handle its storage, picking, packing and deliveries. The development is so that the First Division club can cope with its growing retail business as well as with some mail order deliveries.
WBA selected FDB from a short-list of three third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
