Glasgow-based Wiseman Dairies has taken on 11 tankers from Crossland over the past six months, the most recent being six 26,000 litre articulated trailers. The dairy has also recently been supplied with five 16,000 litre rigid tankers, made from stainless steel with a top box designed to ease cleaning and improve hygiene.
The rigid tankers, mounted on Volvo FM9 triaxle chassis cabs, feature rear cabinets to house all data capture equipment. They also feature rear-steer axles to improve manoeuvrability around farm yards.
All the new tankers are carrying out farm collection duties, with three being used for direct milk supplies.
