Weyfringe has produced a flat carton labelling system to automatically label cartons before building and filling. The new system includes a hopper feed and stacker unit allowing the labeller to run unattended, and without interruption.
The company says labels can be pre-printed or printed on line and applied accurately in the user’s preferred position.
Large cost and logistical improvements can be realised, says Weyfringe, by stocking generic plain cartons, rather than many pre-printed versions of the same carton, and identifying using labels applied automatically just before filling. New products and customer requirements can also be quickly catered for, allowing an improved response time to be offered for new business.
