Independent mobile communication and data collection house Commitment has launched a Bluetooth cordless barcode scanner which enables operators to reach barcode labels on bulky items or high shelves without worrying about bothersome cables.
The MBC-6890 offers a choice of short distance (up to 15m) and long distance (up to 100m) Bluetooth modules. It features an intelligent FuzzyScan scanning engine to enhance reading capability and decoding speed for poor quality barcodes. Also, the Bluetooth technology means that the barcode data is instantaneously sent back to the host computer.
The scanner offers high speed scanning at 300 scans per second. It is also equipped with Flash Memory for instant upgrade in the field, and has a bright aiming light which enhances visibility and barcode reading.
