Commitment has produced a new low cost linear imager scanner which can read barcodes up to 25cm away. The AS-8150 is a mid-range scanner that replaces traditional laser barcode scanners with “a high speed, feature rich alternative” – it uses patented Digi-Decode technology to enable 200 barcode captures at 200 scans per second.
The unit offers PC keyboard wedge/RS232/USB interchangeable cables as well as multiple trigger modes. It also has an “exceptionally” bright aiming line.
The AS-8150 is available in handheld and hands-free modes as well as long-range activation. An optional adjustable stand can be used for automated operation.
