A totally new series of LP gas and diesel counterbalance trucks in 1.5 to 3.5 tonne capacity range is to be unveiled soon by Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks, says UK distributor Hamech Mitsubishi. The company describes the new truck as “a supermodel – extremely well specified and extremely good value for money”.
The new model is understood to be a total re-design of Mitsubishi’s K series, and will feature an automotive-style display, small steering wheel and ergonomically positioned controls. Particular emphasis has been placed on primary safety to ensure the highest levels of driver and truck protection without the need for “bolt-on extras” to improve stability.
By extending service intervals and reducing the number of components that can wear, the new range is expected to deliver exceptional uptime for maximum productivity.
