Wilson Bowden Developments advised by FPDSavills and King Sturge, has secured two more tenants at Interlink Business Park, Junction 22 on the M1, Leicestershire.
Southern Syringe Services has taken a 15-year lease on a 58,900 sq ft (5,471.81 sq m) distribution facility on the premier development site at an annual rent of £185,665 pa.
This letting follows the transaction to Laddaw, a subsidiary of Belron, the world’s largest dedicated vehicle glass repair company, and home to the well known brand Autoglass. In August, Belron took a 15,000 sq ft (13,935 sq m) purpose built facility in a 15-year lease at an annual rent of £847,618.50.
Laddlaw were attracted by Interlinks’s superb location and communications, the local labour pool and its reputation as a distribution location.
Laura Ashley Plc, the fashion and homeware retailer, has also recently taken a 170,000 sq ft (15,793 sq m) purpose built factory at Interlink.
Laura Ashley’s logistics manger said: “The highly skilled workforce in the area enabled us to fill all vacancies well in advance of the project becoming operational. The whole project has been a great success, particularly in relation to the speed with which the building and operation were up and running.”
Other tenants on the 150 acre (60.7 hectare) site include Nissan, Brantano, Antlis and Hays Distribution.
