Property adviser DTZ has kick-started the marketing campaign of Electrolux’s former logistics and manufacturing plant with the launch of the 10,250sq m property in Wollersdorf, near Vienna, Austria. Having revamped its Europtean distribution, Electrolux recruited DTZ’s Vienna and London teams to find an occupier or purchaser for the Wollersdorf facility, known as Zehn 2.
As well as the 10,250sq m of high specification distribution warehousing space, the site also boasts a direct rail link and extensive expansion opportunities, which could accommodate up to a further 10,000sq m of distribution or industrial space.
Robert Hall, director of European industrial and logistics at DTZ, says: “Evidence suggests that in spite of difficult economic circumstances, Europe’s distribution market continues to remain resilient. Demand for larger properties is healthy as business and logistics operators continue to centralise their logistics operations at hub locations.”
