Transport operator Simpson Bros has opened a new 3,720sq m distribution and warehousing centre on the Drum Industrial Estate, Birtley. The centre features a high bay warehouse and extensive trailer parking.
The company, which was based in Throckley, Newcastle, says the expansion was necessary following the introduction of new services including PalletFORCE, for the collection and next-day delivery of single or multi pallets nationwide, and contract logistics provider LinQ Alliance.
