Shipping company DFDS Tor Line’s relationship with Volvo Logistics has been extended to the end of 2005. The renewed contract, which uses DFDS Tor Line’s EuroBridge and Anglobridge services, is expected to increase volumes of finished products and components shipped.
It entails DFDS shipping cars, commercial vehicles, busses and components to the Continent and Britain. Transport to the Continent is via EuroBridge between Gothenburg in Sweden and Ghent in Belgium, and via AngloBridge between Gothenburg and Immingham in the UK. Either service has seven weekly departures, which was a decisive factor for Volvo.
