The new SC 3200 three-wheel counterbalanced truck series from Crown has been designed to provide a stress-free and productive operation for the operator. Its ergonomic features and sophisticated technology are also designed to help make the operator’s job easier.
The SC 3200 has optimal positioning and ergonomic features of the controls. For example, the controls are individually shaped giving the operator tactile feedback. As well as plenty of head and shoulder room, the truck has a low step height of 375mm, sculpted cowling, and infinitely adjustable steering column.
The operator can see up to 17% more fork area because of the forward cab design. Enhanced visibility improves the operator’s accuracy in placing forks into pallets without having to lean forward. Also, the improved side visibility gives means the driver is better able to turn in tight corners, reducing the potential for product or rack damage and accidents. The vehicle has a low centre of gravity and dual steer wheels which provide a solid truck frame while the heavy-duty I-beams and tie bars combined with angled mast rollers considerably reduce mast deflection.
