Dynamic Europe, the European distribution and servicing arm of the New Zealand-based supplier of control systems for powered wheelchairs and scooters, is moving from Kidderminster to a 1,472sq m speculatively built facility on the Stonebridge Cross Business Park at Droitwich Spa. James Morris, financial controller at Dynamic Europe, explains the move: “We chose to relocate to Stonebridge Cross because of the excellent infrastructure and communications coupled with access to a larger pool of skilled labour. As world leaders in control systems for electronic wheelchairs and scooters, we have a track record of rapid expansion. We anticipate that Stonebridge Cross will be able to accommodate our requirements well into the future.”
He continues: “Compared with the alternative sites, Stonebridge Cross scored highest on criteria such as environment and capacity for expansion. One of the decisive factors in our decision was that during our negotiations it became evident that Stoford Development’s approach reflected the common values we share of partnership and seeking to do business to the mutual long-term benefit of both parties.”
Stoford is developing the park in association with AXA REIM and David Brown, director of Stoford, says: “The letting of the unit to Dynamic Europe means we only have a 1,858sq m unit remaining in the four building speculative scheme.”
According to Tim Suffield, of NAI Fuller Peiser which is joint agent with FPD Savills, says: “The activity at Droitwich is mirroring what is generally happening in the Worcestershire area in terms of improvements in occupational demand. The M5 corridor in Worcestershire is now seen as one of the fastest growing new distribution locations.”
