New deals feature heavily in an upbeat report from international express freight operator Europa Worldwide Logistics in the lead up to the busy season Christmas season.
Recently-won contracts include food supply companies Cremanaze in Erith and Allied Mills (Semolina Distribution) in Tilbury. For the former, Europa is delivering daily multi-drops to big outlets such as 3663, Morrisons and Booker. For the latter, Europa is providing a daily trailer service to Allied’s customers throughout the UK. Maco UK of Sittingbourne, which supplies architectural ironmongery to the double glazing industry, has contracted Europa to run two trailers a day comprising a small mix of full loads to destinations nationwide.
Europa also reports increased business from Solihull-based Elco Paper UK, which imports high quality paper and paper products from Switzerland for distribution throughout the UK retail trade.
